Looking for Musical Numbers for 2009

December will be here before we know it. We are starting to look for church and community choirs, bell choirs, small instrumental groups, soloist, etc. to perform during the Nativity Festival.

We just finished our first ever Community Nativity Festival, hosted by the congregations of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Huntersville, North Carolina. The church looked beautiful all decorated for Christmas, and we enjoyed some beautiful musical numbers both nights. There were around 160 nativities on display in the cultural hall. The nativities were the most amazing part of this festival. There were simple to elaborate, store bought and hand made. They came from all over the world and every one shared the story of our Savior’s birth.

We will begin looking forward to next year in January with a meeting to discuss what we can improve on next year. In the meantime, stay tuned for pictures from the event.
